Recently started writing articles and your site saves me a bunch of time helping to insure my articles are of prime length.

groovy. no word count tool on wordpad, this was real useful, ta. means i can use the spell check on firefox too (which wordpad ALSO doesn't have)

If this tool had a spell check then it would be PEREFECT!!!

This is a big help. My Microsoft Word stopped working and I had a 1750 word essay due that day and this helped me dramatically to finish my project. Thanks to whoever provided this website.

hey, this works great!! it even works for different languages!! i had to write an essay and i had to have 10% in spanish and there were specific numbers of words that i had to have and it was getting very difficult to count each word and i kept losing my place, but then i found this and it was a god send!! thanks!!

I thought I was doomed, I had to get a new PC, and did not download Office yet. I am in the midst of writing papers, and cannot estimate. My minimum word count should be 750, and I thought What am I going to do. Google, and out comes word count, and I have just met a new friend, Thank you!! this is a very helpful tool. i do with that writing programs had this tool. i thought that i wouldn't be able to find a place to do a word count. but i should have remember that anyone can find EVERY THING on th web :)

Ah! This was great! I'm writing an article for a website that has to be at least 1,000 words. My word counter on Word Perfect isn't working, so this is a huge life saver for me. ^.^

Word Count Tool doesn't permanently store the text you put into it.

This really helps me when I have to have essays that are a certain number of words!

This tool is amazing. At first I thought I was going to have to count all 600 words by myself since I don't have Microsoft Word in my computer.

I love word count it's a great tool instead of counting by hand thanks creator.

VERY handy tool. I didn't know how I was going to keep track of how large a story submission was--what if I wrote it out and ended up having to clip half of it away? This handy little site let me keep track of exactly where I was at and how much room I had.

my micrsoft word doesn't have a word count so i use this website instead. It works greats and its so easy to use!

Great tool. MS Word word count just doesn't cut it. I always get more words than there really are. I am a translator and I charge by the word, so it is imperative that I get an exact count. Thanks again.

This is a great tool I saved it on a bookmark on Mozilla and now any time Im typing up a essay for 1,000 words or more I use this baby right here. Shes a smoking machine and she'll count the words clean.

I really enjoy this tool being that its very efficient and it really helped out since i had to type a 4035 word essay and i had to make sure to number the words at the end so can u imagine if i had 2 read all of that....

Okay, do i have to list the words in a row:

Or can I list the words with commas and still have it count JUST the words or will it count the commas too? Your guide doesnt say anything about commas.
